About image
I work with major national agencies to provide marketing and technical content for clients including Altium, Cadence, Ciena, Motion Industries, Pure Storage, United Rentals, and other major corporations. In brief, I believe in combining my knack for telling a good story with my experience working with electronic and industrial systems. My work includes articles, blogs, case studies, white papers, and landing pages about topics ranging from printed circuit board design and manufacturing, predictive analytics in the energy utility sector, and industrial technologies to design for sustainability and the impact of strategic risk management on people and policies.

I have presented at national and regional conferences about really interesting topics such as the early years of NASA's experimental aircraft, managing change in organizations, and process analysis in organizations.

I also work as an adjunct professor for the Fort Hays State University Department of Political Science. I teach virtual courses ranging from "Voting Trends and Issues" and "Citizenship and Immigration" to "American Foreign Policy" and "Politics of the Environment." During 2017, the University rewarded my efforts with their Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year award.

When I'm not writing or teaching, I truly enjoy running, playing tennis, and being with my family.  We live a few miles outside of a very small town called Ellis, Kansas.  Since we live in a rural setting, we have many opportunities to see deer, raccoons, badgers, bobcats, geese, ducks, skunks, and snakes.
